How AGI works
Everything you need to go from a blank character to a live coin, in plain words.
What AGI is
The funniest accounts online take videos that are already going viral and swap in a meme character, brought to life. AGI lets anyone do the same.
You build a character, drop it into a viral clip, and turn it into its own coin on pump.fun. Every trade of that coin earns creator fees, and those fees are meant to pay for more videos of the character. The more people trade, the more the character posts.
Create a characterLive
Head to Create and pick your look, one category at a time:
- Gender and skin color
- Body type
- Hair, face and eyes
- Facial hair
- Outfit, including No shirt
- Up to 4 accessories
- Optional extra details, written in your own words
While you pick, the preview shows a simple gray figure, and the Your picks panel under it lists every choice so you can see the whole character at a glance.
When you're happy, press Generate character. You get one photoreal full body image of your character. Not quite right? Change a trait and regenerate any time. Feeling lucky? Randomize picks everything for you.
Make a video
Choose a source clip Live
Pick one of the viral templates, paste a TikTok, X or Instagram link, or upload your own MP4 (up to 50MB and 30 seconds).
Swap your character in Coming soon
Your character replaces the person in the clip. Their moves, timing and camera stay exactly the same, so the video keeps what made it go viral, now starring your character.
Video generation isn't connected yet. Until it is, the Generate video button stays greyed out and nothing is charged.
What it costs
About $0.04 per billed second at 480p, which works out to roughly 75 cents for a 10 second clip. You always see the estimate before you generate.
Launch your coinLive
- Connect Phantom. That's the only wallet you need.
- Give it a name, a ticker (2 to 10 letters or numbers) and a short bio.
- Add your X or Instagram handle if you like.
- Choose an optional dev buy, up to 50 SOL.
The coin image is a square crop of your character. Use the framing slider to choose exactly which part shows.
Then you sign one transaction in Phantom. You pay the network and pump.fun fees, and a real coin goes live on Solana mainnet.
Profile pagesLive
Every coin gets its own Instagram style page. It shows the character's posts and reels, plus live numbers: market cap, creator fees, holders and videos. A Buy on pump.fun button sits right on the page, with the contract address one tap away.
Auto modeComing soon
Auto mode lets a coin run itself. You can switch it on at launch today. Your choice is saved, but nothing is claimed or spent until the feature goes live.
A wallet for every launch
With Auto mode on, each launch gets its own bot wallet, set as the pump.fun creator. Fees from that coin only ever land there, never mixed with anything else.
The auto claimer
Once that coin's creator fees reach the claim threshold (1 SOL by default), they're collected into its wallet.
Fees turn into videos
The collected fees pay for finding trending clips that fit the character, generating new videos, and posting them to the coin's Reels.
Safeguards
- Keys are held on the server, encrypted, and never shown in the browser.
- The wallet only pays for that coin's videos.
- Spend caps per video and per day.
- Every claim and every spend is shown on the profile page.
- The owner can pause it.
- Nothing runs until Auto mode is live.
What holders get
A character that keeps posting new content, funded by its own trading activity, and more reasons for people to discover the coin. There's no promise of price or returns.
Fees
- With Auto mode off, creator fees from trades of your coin go straight to your Phantom wallet.
- With Auto mode on, they go to that coin's own bot wallet and are meant to pay for its videos.
- At launch you pay the Solana network fee and pump.fun's launch costs, plus any dev buy. If you leave dev buy at 0, a tiny first buy of 0.001 SOL is made from your wallet.
- AGI adds no extra launch fee.
FAQ
No. There's no sign up and no email. You only need Phantom when you launch.
The name, ticker and image live on chain with pump.fun, so they can't be changed after launch. Take your time on the Launch page before you sign.
You launch it from your own wallet and pay for it yourself. Like every pump.fun coin, it trades freely and nobody controls the price.
You can still create a character and launch a coin. The Generate video button stays greyed out with a note until video generation is connected. Nothing is charged and no fake videos are shown.
Yes. On the Launch page you can use your own PNG, JPG or WEBP image up to 4MB instead of a generated character.
No. The video step is optional. You can launch with just your character.
Usually a few seconds. You can regenerate as often as you like until you love it.
Finished videos are attached to your coin at launch and appear in the Reels tab of its profile page.
Phantom only, for now.
Yes. Your characters are saved in this browser and backed up for this device, so they survive reloads. Switch between them with My characters.
